Whew. Passed.
Google recently released a new Mobile-Friendly Test tool. This tool checks if your site:
- Avoids software that is not common on mobile devices, like Flash
- Uses text that is readable without zooming
- Sizes content to the screen so users don’t have to scroll horizontally or zoom
- Places links far enough apart so that the correct one can be easily tapped
If you pass, you will get a "mobile-friendly" label added to your listing in mobile search results. This little nugget could positively impact your click-through rates.
With 50% or greater of online traffic coming from mobile devices, it is more important than ever to be mobile-ready.
Go test your website now.
